Just a reminder: the final draft of your personal memoir essay is due
by 11:59pm on Friday (tomorrow). The deadline to send me questions
about your audio feedback (clarifications, issues with the file, etc.)
is tonight (Thursday), as I will be unable to respond to emails
tomorrow. For this reason, it is imperative that you listen to the
feedback as soon as possible.
Your
assignments for our next scheduled class meeting (Wednesday, March 19th)
are as follows: narrowing down the focus of your argumentative paper
from a broad topic, and emailing me a tentative thesis. The breakdown of
your topic will need to be submitted to a dropbox (which I'll open
after the deadline for the narratives passes) before the start of class
on 3/19. Your tentative thesis will need to be emailed to me by noon on
the 19th, in order to participate in the thesis statement workshop.
I
have posted notes and examples of the topic breakdown from yesterday's
class to the content section of D2L. Please let me know if you have any
questions.
