You have two assignments for next week. The first is to complete a
Very Rough Draft of your final paper. You will need to have tentative
versions of your introduction, three supporting sections, and
conclusion. At this point, you don't have to worry about properly citing
your sources or including in-depth research (though having this
material will place you ahead of our current pace); the purpose of this
assignment is to show that you have an idea of what you're trying to
prove, how you plan on supporting it, and why it's important. This draft
should be at least two full pages, and it will need to be uploaded to
the discussion board prior to class on Wednesday (4/2).
The
second assignment is to read the assignments from our Next Text book,
listed on the course schedule. You do not need to write a response to
these essays; just have them read and be prepared to discuss them in
